I have a Master’s of Science degree in Education (MSEd) from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in microbiology from the University of New Hampshire.

As a scientist, I focused on research projects in molecular microbiology, bacterial signal transduction, genomics & bioinformatics at the University of New Hampshire, Harvard University and the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.

More recently, at the University of Pennsylvania, I studied pedagogy, curriculum, social emotional learning, design of learning environments, and education entrepreneurship.

Empowering Scholars and Building a Community of Learners

The unmitigated joy of sharing knowledge gives me a sense of purpose. So, I also share videos and interactive bite-sized learning at Scholar Horizon.

As a compassionate curator of educational experiences, I leverage AI tools to assist—not replace—human interaction. My objective is to empower a global educational community where technology serves as a unifying force, connecting learners and bridging gaps.

My vision extends beyond academic achievements; it seeks to nurture a generation of empathetic thinkers, innovators, and problem-solvers, who are intellectually and emotionally equipped to tackle global challenges.

A few more things about me…

Morning coffee fuels my optimism for the day ahead.

I’ve traveled to many wonderful places around the world and love exploring new cultures. For me, learning and sharing knowledge never stop—no matter where I am—as long as I have access to the internet.

I’m fascinated by two things: (i) the potential of a digitally connected global community and (ii) public understanding of science.
